What is RSS?
RSS is an internet application with which messages (´feeds´) from various websites are automatically brought together in a single place (the ´RSS reader´). Thus you no longer have to visit each website separately in order to be kept informed about the most recent messages. Instead of yourself going to all kinds of sites every day, you can have the information from your favourite sites come to you.
What can you do with RSS?
Via an RSS reader, you can specify what information should come to your reader. After that, the RSS computer program will itself contact the sites which you have indicated, collect the feeds and neatly display them on your RSS reader. If you click on a message, you will automatically go to the original website. A website which offers information via RSS will have the term ´RSS´ and/or the icon on the home page.
