On January 20, 2020, ROCKWOOL Group officially signed a project investment agreement with Guangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, Guangzhou Development Zone Land Development Reserve Trading Center, and Fogang Park of Guangfo Industrial Park Management Committee of Guangfo (Fogang) Industrial Park, Guangqing Special Economic Cooperation Zone, with an investment of 488 million RMB to build a high-quality fireproof and thermal insulation stone wool manufacturing plant. The new plant will be completed and put into production in early 2022. By then, the old plant in the Yonghe Industrial Zone of the Guangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone will be closed at the same time.
