As part of our team, you’ll enjoy opportunities for professional growth within an international company where you can leave your mark on global projects.

Your future team

You’ll join the Group Technology Cold End department - a group of approximately 50 enthusiastic, diverse, and talented colleagues developing and deploying the latest technologies for stone wool production in mechanics, electricals, and automation, including PLC, WCS, and WHM systems.

Specifically, our Software and Automation Section is searching for a talented new team member to support our journey toward seamless automation and enhanced production efficiency.

As our new MES programmer/WCS Automation Engineer, you’ll play a key role in our project organization, helping to optimize and automate the production flow for our semi-finished and finished products. You’ll be instrumental in developing and adapting our new MES platform based on the TrakSYS system, which we’re deploying across our factories worldwide.

More specifically you will:

  • Collaborate with the project manager and a team of programmers to drive the development, adaptation, implementation, and support of our new MES system,
  • Provide support for ROCKWOOL production facilities worldwide,
  • Dive deep into TrakSYS, learning how we transport and store semi-finished and finished products to streamline our processes,
  • Travel up to 60-80 days per year to support our projects, primarily across Europe and North America.

What you bring

You’re a technically skilled problem solver who thrives in analytical environments and consistently delivers high-quality results. You’re confident sharing ideas to enhance processes while remaining committed to our overall standards. With strong communication skills, you’re comfortable working cross-functionally and engaging with colleagues and suppliers at all levels.

Furthermore, we imagine that you have:

  • 3+ years of experience implementing MES or similar systems,
  • Strong programming skills (C# and SQL) with a passion for software development,
  • A solid foundation in IT, including network design, server settings, virtualization, and security,
  • Familiarity with PLC and SCADA systems,
  • A good understanding of manufacturing processes and production efficiency.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus),
  • The ability to manage projects independently and effectively collaborate across departments.
