What You’ll Be Doing

As a Mechanical Designer, you’ll collaborate with project teams to create detailed layouts and 3D models for both greenfield and brownfield factory projects. Your work will help ensure accurate designs that meet stakeholder needs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Factory Layout Development: Collect information to prepare detailed layouts, including equipment placement and workflow optimization.
  • Building Drawings: Create and update layout drawings, load plans, installation drawings, and 2D site plans.
  • 3D Modeling: Develop and maintain 3D models of buildings, equipment, and installations (civil-mechanical and civil-electrical).
  • Documentation Updates: Support internal, external, and authority stakeholders by providing accurate site layouts, 3D models, equipment layouts, and diagrams.
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with project members and the CAD Coordinator to propose innovative construction solutions.

What You Bring

  • Experience in mechanical design and layout development for civil or industrial projects.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing 2D/3D models using relevant software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in dynamic project environments.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
  • Fluency in professional English, both written and spoken.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools, particularly Inventor. Experience with Navisworks, Vault Professional, or AutoDesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is an added advantage.
