What you will be doing:

As an IT Infrastructure Architect you will be trusted advisor for Infrastructure management,  IT management, and internal and external service providers. You will have a leading role in modernizing our IT infrastructure by creating strategies, roadmaps and blueprints that support our digital transformation.

Moreover, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and maintaining strategies, roadmaps, and target architectures for hybrid setups, combining cloud and on-premises solutions.
  • Creating IT infrastructure blueprints and target architectures for digitalisation projects by identifying organizational needs and requirements in close collaboration with Solution Architects and the Infrastructure departments.
  • Engaging in implementation projects to deliver the right quality of IT infrastructure based on your blueprints and architecture.
  • Advising stakeholders, including Project Managers and Technical Leads, to ensure alignment with infrastructure standards and modernization goals.
  • Supporting digital transformation projects by delivering high-quality designs and ensuring compliance during implementation phases.

What you bring:

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a combination of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a collaborative mindset.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A higher degree in IT, engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of IT infrastructure architecture experience.
  • Proven experience designing and documenting IT infrastructure blueprints for large-scale, international enterprises.
  • Strong technical knowledge across IT infrastructure domains, including SAP, cloud technologies, networking (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi), virtualization, and databases (SQL, MongoDB, MariaDB).
  • Practical expertise in application hosting platforms (Windows, Linux, Docker containers) and infrastructure security.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive approach, coupled with analytical thinking and a focus on delivering tangible business results.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • Fluent English
