Junior Business Controller

We are seeking a Junior Business Controller position based in our Poznań location to join the Controlling team.

Your future team:  

As part of our team, you will be operating at the core of our business, where your financial skills will lead to better decision-making throughout the entire value chain. Together, we make our business run smoothly and contribute to our company’s development and growth. Within your field, you can work on a variety of assignments with a high level of responsibility – from reporting and analyzing business performance to ensuring bills are paid. You will be exposed to projects that develop your skills and allow you to progress your career.

What you will be doing: 

• Customer bonus calculation and administrative tasks relating to this process
• Salesforce incentive bonus calculation and maintenance of sales incentive tool, including data uploads, data checks and support to colleagues
• Preparing, checking correctness and distributing business reports
• Identifying areas for process and report standardization and/or automation to increase productivity, and optimizing the performance of working files within both individual and departmental scopes
• Supporting and preparing parts of a monthly reporting package to management teams
• Building relationship with the key stakeholders, being a focal point of contact
• Participating in transition projects (including travels). Supporting TL/transition manager with the efficient transfer processes, preparing instructions/supporting documentations/transition plan and training a backup

What you bring:  

• 1+ years of experience in a similar position
• Knowledge and understanding of accounting, controlling and financial analysis/reporting
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office package, especially Excel (Power Query & Power BI experience will be an asset)
• Ability to communicate with others, listening to their needs and adapting suggested solutions to them; ability to negotiate and convince others to accept the suggested solutions
• Ability to adapt accordingly to new situations and scenarios as well as accepting feedback
• Ability to generate innovative ideas; building mindset of continuous improvement concept; ability to identify process imperfections and challenge status quo of processes
• Proactive and goal-oriented approach, problem solving skills and flexibility
• Bachelor's in Accounting, Economics or related fields
• Written and spoken English advanced proficiency
