We are seeking a Warehouse Team Lead based in our Byhalia, MS Factory.   The position is scheduled for shift, from 7:00PM-7:00AM, on a Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

What you bring:

  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics.
  • Functional Knowledge of SAP and warehouse management modules.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
  • Infrequent lifting, up to 50 lbs.

What you will be doing:

  • Make safety a number 1 priority in all areas and provide consistent leadership in this area by performing monthly safety training and periodic audits of safe practices or deficiencies in safety.
  • Document any safety incidents or accidents using the proper forms and following established Company protocol, report and contribute to monthly safety committee.
  • Build and transmit shipments to third party logistics providers, monitor third party interface for accuracy.
  • Lead the team in maintaining an accurate, organized inventory and champion cycle count process.  Perform and record cycle counts for all finished goods according to cycle count schedule.
  • Create picking and loading plans as needed.
  • Maintain documentation of existing procedures and document the development of new procedures.
  • Communicate and train associates on all procedures consistently following up with them for compliance.
  • Perform all assigned tasks professionally, following all written and verbal instructions from your manager.
  • Backup all aspects of the Transportation planner when on vacation or out of office for extended periods.
  • Monitor and follow up on all Email and incoming phone calls.
  • Assign tasks and follow up with Associates to verify compliance.
  • Provide information and assistance to team members and contract drivers when necessary.
