We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator at our Lockport, IL location that provides process support in achieving key performance indicators for all logistics activities, including shipping, receiving and inventory management.  The logistics coordinator will support all logistics functions as needed and may have one or multiple areas of specialization.

Salary: $22/hour to $25/hour

Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm

What you will be doing:

  • Initiate and delegate daily cycle counts per established SOP and count schedule.  

  • Record completed cycle counts for all finished goods and/or raw and semi-finished materials into SAP, according to the cycle count SOP. 

  • Reconcile all secondary re-counts or discrepancies.

  • Perform systematic inputs and maintenance of count activities.

  • Maintain SharePoint log for completed counts.

  • Receiving accuracy, timely process inbound receipts, verify accuracy of received items

  • Back up other Coordinators functional areas through comprehensive cross training activities.

  • Provide backup for Team Lead including building and transmitting shipments to third party logistics providers, monitoring third party interface for accuracy, coordinate decisions with Transportation Planner, and execute on order processing requirements in SAP.

  • Communicate with other functional areas of the operation (sales, planning, purchasing, customer Service, quality and production) to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries, warehouse efficiency and accurate inventory.

  • Other business support functions at Supervisor’s discretion.

  • Maintain a neat, orderly work area in accordance with established 6S principles.

  • Perform all job functions safely by following established safety protocols.

What you bring:

  • Must have: inventory accuracy and integrity, on time shipping, shipping accuracy and efficiency

  • SAP within a material management and LES skillset are required

  • Forklift certified

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Minimum 3 experience in Logistics and warehousing.

  • Logistics Execution and Warehouse Management modules preferred.

  • Ability to deliver clear and informative written and oral communication

  • Ability to be certified in the operation of powered industrial lift trucks

  • Infrequently lift up to 70 lbs

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
