Your future team:
You will become part of Sustainable Melting. The team consists of approximately 50 engineers and project managers who are mainly based in Poland and Denmark and dedicated to designing sustainable melting plant equipment for greenfield and brownfield factories.
What you will be doing:
Joining ROCKWOOL, you will support our mission to minimize our climate footprint by creating and implementing melting installations in our factories worldwide.
The scope of work in Sustainable Melting Department is mainly consisting projects on following installations:
You will work mainly in cross-functional teams with fellow specialists and project managers in which you will focus on the technical aspects of melting furnaces and auxiliary equipment. Being our dedicated mechanical engineer, you will also keep a constant eye on global trends, ensuring we always adhere to and are aware of any changes in regulations around the world.
From early concepting to finished solution, you will take part in all the phases of a project, including:
Although your new desk will be located in Poznań or Cigacice, Poland, you will often travel around North America, Asia and Europe – mostly to meet with colleagues and suppliers and to supervise the implementation of your designs. You can expect to travel 60-100 days per year, with trips varying from just a couple of days to a few weeks at a time. Know, however, that you will rarely be alone.
