ROCKWOOL Frontrock™ insulation boards are engineered to help reduce base coat consumption, provide rigid surface resistance against accidental impact, and adapt to irregularities of the wall in EIFS applications.
The boards are non-combustible and able to withstand temperatures up to 2150°F (1177C) and does not promote flame spread. Water repellent and vapor permeable to support long-term assembly durability, the stone wool boards also provide acoustics benefits by dampening exterior noise to provide a more comfortable and productive interior space. Designed with a stable thermal performance for the life of the building, ROCKWOOL Frontrock delivers reliable energy efficiency.
ROCKWOOL Frontrock is available as both monolithic and dual density versions. The mono-density version provides consistent density and high compressive strength throughout the board. The dual-density version is available in thicknesses ≥ 2.5”, and features a high-density top layer that helps reduce base coat consumption during installation and a lower-density inner layer that reduces board weight, allowing it to better adapt to wall irregularities.
Manufactured with tight dimensional and thickness tolerances, easy to cut on the job site or in prefabricated applications, and available in a range of thicknesses. ROCKWOOL Frontrock has been engineered with a supplementary layer of quality control during the manufacturing process to maximize board consistency and quality for general contractors and EIFS applicators.
