TCB (Thermal Cavity Barrier)
ROCKWOOL TCB is a cavity barrier suitable for masonry and timber frame constructions, suitable for use both horizontally and vertically.
TCB is manufactured from non-combustible stone wool insulation encapsulated within a red polythene sleeve, eliminating the need for weather protection during installation.
Benefits:
- Tested and assessed for up to 60 minutes fire resistance (integrity and insulation) in accordance with BS 476: Part 20
- Exceeds minimum Building Regulation requirements for fire resistance within concealed wall cavities.
- A vertical or horizontal solution – TCB can be used in both vertical and horizontal applications.
- Acoustically absorbent stone wool core reduces acoustic flanking transmission.
