Fire Tube
Manufactured from non-combustible stone wool, Fire Tube has been tested and assessed in accordance with BS EN 13381-4 to fire protect structural steel circular hollow columns for fire resistance periods of up to 3 hours.
The wall thickness required to provide a particular fire resistance for a specified period depends on the diameter, wall thickness and design temperature of the steel column. Please see the product datasheet for more information.
