FirePro® SP FireStop EN
Manufactured from non-combustible ROCKWOOL stone wool, FirePro® SP FireStop EN is available in two thicknesses options depending on the fire performance required:
SP FireStop EN 60 – 75mm
SP FireStop EN 120 – 90mm
FirePro® SP FireStop EN has been tested in accordance with BS EN 1366-4:2021 and is suitable for use as a linear cavity firestop in both vertical and horizontal orientations. SP FireStop EN has been tested and classified for use with multiple substrate types including masonry/concrete, SFS and composite panels with a stone wool core.
SP FireStop EN can achieve fire resistance ratings of up to 120 minutes (EI 120) in cavities up to 600mm, depending on the application. The product has been classified in accordance with BS EN 13501-2: 2016
SP FireStop EN is fixed using SP FireStop EN Fixing Bracket, which are available sized small, large and extra large). Black aluminium foil tape, available for purchase from ROCKWOOL, should be used to tape joints between adjacent sections.
